The Peppermill Hotel Casino's popular, award-winning, 24-hour Coffee Shop now has greatly expanded its menu for those following the trendy Atkins Diet.

January 29 2004--The Peppermill Reno Hotel Coffee Shop is offering Atkins style choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The breakfast choices are served 24-hours a day and include:
• Protein omelet (11.7 net carbs): saut?ed mushrooms, spinach, black olives, sausage, bacon, green onions, Jack and cheddar cheese, $7.95.
• Pork chops and eggs (2 net carbs): $7.95.
• Huevos Puerto Vallarta (10 net carbs): three eggs, any style with chorizo, tomatillo salsa, black olives, green onions, Jack and cheddar cheese, $7.95.
• New York steak and eggs (2 net carbs): $10.95.
• Garden Cove omelet (4 net carbs): bacon, Jack and cheddar cheese omelet with grilled ham steak and two sausage links, $8.50.
• Eggs Neptune (6 net carbs): two poached eggs served on crabmeat, baby spinach and toped with hollandaise sauce, $8.95.

Coffee Shop choices available from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. include:
• Mexicana Taco Plate (9.3 net carbs): grilled chicken breast or ground beef served with cheddar and Jack cheese, black olives, avocado, jalapenos, fresh cilantro and sour cream with bibb lettuce wraps, $7.95.
• Baby Spinach Salad (5.2 net carbs): grilled chicken breast, smoked bacon, black olives, chopped egg, walnuts and blue cheese crumbles tossed with low carb vinaigrette, $9.50.
• New York Steak Salad (3.5 net carbs): char-grilled sliced New York steak served on tossed romaine with cucumber slices, green onions, kalamata olives, feta cheese and cherry tomatoes, low carb vinaigrette, $10.50.
• Miso-Soy Glazed Salmon (10.5 net carbs): wok seared and served on spicy Asian stir fry, $9.95.
