Following three years of incredible growth, Parallel® Technologies Corporation was recently named the recipient of the Pittsburgh Technology 50 award, given annually by the Pittsburgh Technology Council (PTC) to the fastest growing company in the $1 million-$5 million category in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

In the past three years Parallel's® gross revenues grew at the staggering rate of 37,400 percent. And Parallel's® President and CEO, Daniel G. Grant, is even more excited about what the future holds for his five-year-old company.

To qualify for the award, Parallel®, along with the other award recipients, were defined as companies that develop, manufacture or use advanced technology or technology-based products. In addition, at least 50 percent of each company's revenues came from the commercial application of proprietary technology products, services or applications. The data used to determine the awardees in each category was collected by Arthur Anderson.
