Racingworld.com launch Racing Industry services

New Zealand - July 29, 2001 (PRN): Racingworld.com - a technology service provider and the World's largest tri-code website based out of New Zealand, has launched it's unique online services in the UK for the horse and greyhound racing industries. Racingworld.com is focusing on a niche market for developing and promoting websites specifically for racing industry members and organisations. "We can achieve this for a fraction of the cost of UK based firms due to the favourable exchange rates between the UK and New Zealand". Says CEO, Rob Earle during a visit to London this week.

Key features on Racingworld.com include Marketplace classifieds, Merchandising, Syndication and Sales promotion. In May this year, Racingworld released a global yellow pages style online industry directory industry organisations and members such as trainers and breeders can advertise their services. The most exciting offering is a Ready2Run sales service where members can buy and sell bloodstock that are Ready to Run at the races with video footage and photo's of the horses and greyhounds online.

"As industry people, we identified a need for a global industry business to business website that provided quality online services, specific to the needs of industry people" say's Earle. "Most trainers have bloodstock or equipment to sell and with the internet still in it's early days, we know that most racing organisations and establishments throughout the Racingworld will require a presence on the internet over the next few years".

Racingworld.com launched in Australasia in August 2000 and is developing websites for industry members in Australasia and the US. "We have just completed a major website for a US breeding establishment - www.enviroshawstallions.com ." Says Earle. Founder and CEO/Chairman - Robert has been involved in the racing industry for over 30 years. Robert has 16 years IT and management experience. Robert is a licensed trainer, a stud farm owner and a breeder of horses in New Zealand. Robert has consulted to large corporate companies such as Qantas Airlines, Bull Information Systems, Wang, AT&T Global Information Systems and more recently in the UK to Natwest Markets, Royal Bank of Scotland and Cantor Fitzgerald (espeed.com). Combining his technology experience with his passion for racing, lead to the conception and creation of Racingworld.com.

Michael Gourdie

General Manager - Mike has 20 years International Sales and Management Experience. Mike has New Zealand University qualifications involving Design and Management and Honours Diploma in Wool Scouring Technology. Mike has held Directorships in International processing and export companies having been Managing Director for an Internationally based multi-million dollar wool export company. Mike has passion for the Racing Industry through family involvement in both Thoroughbred and Harness and more specifically as a past National President of the NZ Standardbred Breeders Association. Mike is a licensed Harness Racing Syndicator, Breeder, Owner and Administrator.

Rudy Kremers - Microsoft Certified Engineer/Microsoft Solutions Provider

CTO - Rudy has 19 years extensive IT experience. Rudy is responsible for all technical and web development. Rudy has worked for large corporations in New Zealand and the UK such as AT&T Global Information Systems, Merrill Lynch and Greenwich Natwest. Rudy recently acquired a rural property in Christchurch where he intends to breed horses.

Stephen Heffernan

Media Service Director - Stephen has a life time experience in the Racing Industry. Stephen is a breeder and owner of several Standardbred and Thoroughbred horses in New Zealand. Stephen is also a shareholder/director of EP Limited, a Dairy Farm Company based in South Otago. Stephen was instrumental in the creation of Racingworld.com.
