RING IN THE NEW YEAR WITH STEVE MCGREW AND CREW!

The unconventional Texas transplant and former newspaper cartoonist, Steve McGrew, will headline the award-winning Riviera Comedy Club, beginning Monday, New Year's Eve, and continue the laugh-making for seven fun-filled nights. McGrew has been described as "a redneck on acid," "a gay Wally Cleaver," and "a new wave Junior Sample," all because of his various hairstyles and Texas drawl.

McGrew has been a headline act in nightclubs and other venues from coast to coast for more than a decade. His popularity has led to appearances in concert with Billy Crystal, Huey Lewis, Tanya Tucker, Billy Ocean, Chicago and B.B. King.

In addition to the comedy club circuit, McGrew has appeared on Showtime's "Comedy Club Network" and comedy specials on A&E, HBO, MTV and VH-1.

Unstoppable in front of a crowd, McGrew delivers his outrageous material with a sheepish look, which quickly wins over audiences. His fast-paced off-the-wall style covers a lot of comedy territory and he regularly throws in remarkable improvisational bits. McGrew's humor knows no bounds! Joining McGrew for the first week of the New Year are Jon Manfrellotti and Bruce Clark.

Jon Manfrellotti spends a lot of his time working the comedy club circuit from coast to coast. He is also active in the television world, with appearances on Showtime's "Showtime Comedy Club," MTV's "Half-Hour Comedy Hour," and A&E's "Caroline's Comedy Hour." As an actor, Manfrellotti played roles in ABC's "Midtown North," "All My Children," and "City Kids," UPN's "Platypus Man," and NBC's "Seinfeld" and "Law and Order." Most recently he had a featured part on "Everybody Loves Raymond."

Bruce Clark keeps audiences guessing with his air of unpredictability and somewhat pseudo-hostile attack of his ever-changing subject matter. In addition to headlining the top comedy clubs in the country, Clark has appeared in dozens of popular TV shows including VH-1's "Standup Spotlight," A&E's "Comedy on the Road" and Showtime's "Comedy Club Network."

Normal show times for the Riviera Comedy Club are 8 and 10 p.m., nightly. Tickets are $17.95 plus tax and fee. VIP seating is available. Ask about the special dinner/show combos.

On New Year's Eve there will be one special show beginning at 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $49.99 and include unlimited drinks and party favors.
