BOSTON, MA - March 19, 2003 - Front Media Group and Interactive Gaming Security Network (IGSN) come together to form the first IGSN certified internet security training program. A program specifically designed for the Internet Gaming Industry. This is the first of many training programs put on by Front Media Group and collaborating companies offering training designed for the gaming industry. ?We plan to announce several gaming related training programs over the next few months. Front Media Group and IGSN offer a two-day seminar entitled ?Introduction to Security Basics? April 30 - May 1, 2003. This is the first in a series of training seminars helping companies to secure their networks, software and data from compromise associated with intrusion (hack attacks) from outside or inside forces. ?There were 110,000 cyber attacks in 2002, Source: Carnegie Mellon University?s Computer Emergency Response Team?s (CERT) but counter measures were available to prevent 99% of these computer intrusions. This first seminar will help system administrators set up, maintain, and audit a secure network for daily operation in a global internet environment. This multi-faceted certificate program offers basic to advanced level courses to keep up with the daily knowledge base required to ensure proper levels of security.
