The Game Academy is now enrolling adults, and young adults of all skill levels in game programming, and game development classes that will begin on March 8th, 2004. To celebrate their grand opening: The Game Academy is holding an open house between 5:00-7:00pm on March 3rd, and offering a 20% savings to all students who register by February 20th.

April 5, 2004--All of The Academy"s spring offerings belong to one of the following categories:

Game Development

These classes teach students to build various types of games using development tools, and kit technologies. These classes are designed to require little, or no traditional computer programming. Instead these classes focus on the structures, and components that make up games of various genres. These classes are especially well suited for students new to game development, and for hobbyists interested in more casually getting their feet wet.

Game Programming

These are conventional computer programming classes, but are taught with an emphasis in game application development. These classes teach skills that are marketable outside the game industry as well as within, and are great for those looking to add some shine to their resumes, or college applications. If you are serious about a career in the game industry, these classes are a must for you.

The mission of The Game Academy is to advance the state of the art in games by teaching technical skills to, inspiring creativity in, and gathering community support for aspiring game developers.
